Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026

Your 3d Marketplace uses limited information to provide quotes, manufacture custom parts, process orders, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Information we process

• Quote data: model file, filename, model dimensions, material, color, quantity, quote number, pricing, and production status.
• Design inquiry data: contact name, email, project description, optional design/reference file, and consent timestamps.
• Wholesale inquiry data: business and contact details, business type, operating city/region/postal code/country, project volume and timing, selected material/color, project file, and business EIN. The EIN is encrypted before storage and is not included in file metadata or oversized-file email drafts. Do not submit a Social Security number.
• Order data: contact, billing, shipping, payment-status, and order information handled through Shopify and its payment providers. Y3DM does not receive full payment-card numbers.
• Support and privacy requests: email address, order or quote reference, request type, and the details you choose to provide.
• Security and technical data: limited request and device information processed by Shopify and Cloudflare for hosting, fraud prevention, and security. Y3DM’s quote database does not store customer IP addresses.
• Consent records: policy version and acceptance timestamps; Shopify separately records cookie choices.

Why we use information

We process information to provide requested services, perform purchases, secure the service, comply with tax and legal duties, handle claims, and respond to privacy requests. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are used only when allowed by the customer’s privacy choices and applicable law. Marketing consent is not required to request a quote or complete an order.

Sharing

Information is shared only as needed with Shopify and payment providers, Cloudflare hosting/storage/security services, shipping carriers, and internal production services used to fulfill the order. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service.

Retention and deletion

• Quote-basket data stored in the browser expires after 7 days of inactivity.
• Removing an unpaid quote schedules its cloud record, uploaded model, and laptop copy for deletion after a 7-day recovery period.
• Quotes never attached to Shopify checkout are automatically scheduled for deletion after 30 days.
• Design inquiries and uploaded files are automatically deleted from Cloudflare after 90 days. Abandoned, incomplete design and wholesale uploads expire after 24 hours.
• Wholesale inquiries and their uploaded files are automatically deleted from Cloudflare after 90 days unless a shorter period is configured.
• Quotes attached to an unpaid Shopify draft invoice are kept while that invoice remains payable and are reviewed for deletion after the invoice is cancelled or no longer needed.
• Paid-order records and files are kept only as long as reasonably needed to produce the order, handle shipping-damage claims, maintain security, and satisfy tax, accounting, or legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an appeal, and may object to certain processing. You may change optional cookie consent at any time using Privacy choices in the site footer. We may need to verify a request and may retain information that law requires us to keep. For cookie details, refer to the Cookie Policy page.

Security and children

We use access controls, private tokens, restricted origins, abuse protection, and deletion workflows appropriate to the service. No internet system is completely secure. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International use and changes

Service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. We may update this policy prospectively; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
